The 2024/25 Carabao Cup Fourth-Round Draw Set, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man United and Liverpool Learn Next Opponents.

The draw for the Carabao Cup fourth round have been completed, as teams discover their next opponents in the competition as they look to win the first trophy of the season.

The draws took place just after the end of the last third round scheduled games on Wednesday night. Jamie Redknapp and Kevin Nolan conducted the draw.

One more game will need to be played out to complete the round, after AFC Wimbledon’s meeting with Newcastle was postponed due to flooding and pitch damage.

The tie will now be played on Tuesday Oct. 1 to determine the final team in the next round.

Plenty of big clubs in the English top-flight are still left in the competition hoping to replace Liverpool as champions.

The Reds are the current defending champion which they won  under Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool also holds the record for most League Cup wins, too, with ten. They will continue their attempts to retain the trophy with a fourth-round trip to Brighton, following the draw.

The biggest of the fourth round draw tie is Tottenham Hotspur vs Premier League champions Man City, while Mac United will host newly promoted side, Leicester City at Old Trafford.

Matches will take place on the week commencing Monday, October 28.

If the League Cup matches end in a draw, they'll go straight to penalties; extra-time will only used from the semi-finals onwards.
