Harry Kane Reacts To Scoring His First Hat-Trick For Bayern Munich Since Arriving Bundesliga.

Harry Kane scored a hat-trick, and provided two assist as Bayern Munich emphatically cruised past VfL Bochum 7-0 to continue their unbeaten run in the Bundesliga season.

It was a Man of the Match performance from the England captain, as he scored three and set up two.

VfL Bochum who have not recorded any wins this season were not ready for a game as big as the Bayern Munich clash at the prestigious Allianz Arena.

The hosts ran riot, having threatened early as Manuel Riemann saved from Choupo-Moting in the first minute but the forward made no mistake the second time after Kingsley Coman squared the ball to him for an easy tap-in just four minutes into the match.

Following a fantastic work from Alphonso Davies, Kane doubled the Bavarians lead in the 13th minute with a neat finish into the bottom corner and soon had a chance to earn his second but blasted the ball over the bar.

Sven Ulreich was called into action to make a diving save from Christopher Antwi-Adjei but Bayern quickly scored their third goal in the 29th minute after Joshua Kimmich's corner found Matthijs de Ligt, who was making his first Bundesliga start of the campaign, thumped a header into the corner.

The goal left Bochum facing demolition job against the defending champions, as Kane turned provider for Bayern's fourth goal, providing an assist for Leroy Sane with a beautiful through-ball, the kind Tottenham Hotspur fans enjoyed with regularity last season.

Sane stroked in a curled shot into the bottom of the net to ensure the hosts went into the break with a 4-0 lead.

Bochum couldn't stop conceding in the second-half as Bayern's dominance continued when Ivan Ordets conceded a penalty after handling the ball in the box, and Kane successfully converted from the spot in the 54th minute, sending Riemann the wrong way.

The former Tottenham star who joined Bayern for a €100 million this summer in search of a trophy, turned provider again in the 81st minute by assisting teenager Mathys Tel who fired the ball into the far corner.

Kane then earned his hat-trick and secured the match ball with two minutes of normal time left, getting on the end of a ball from Sane to slot in at the near post, ensuring Bochum conceded seven to Bayern for the second successive season.

Kane, whose goal on Wednesday helped Bayern to a 4-3 Champions League victory over Manchester United, has netted seven goals in his first five Bundesliga matches, and he is currently the league’s second-top scorer, three goals behind Serhou Guirassy of Stuttgart.

Speaking to Sky Sport after the game, Jane said that he was satisfied with his team’s performance today:

"We played so well today and had the right mentality. We made it look easy and had so much speed with the ball. 

"Everyone was in top form today, it felt very good. I’m getting to know the team better with every game and things are going very well for me and for the team."

Bayern may have allowed questions to arise over their defensive structure after shipping three goals at home to Man United, however they showed once more their attacking prowess in a 7-0 trashing of Bochum.

The haul on Saturday was Kane's first domestic league hat-trick since December 2017, when he scored consecutive trebles for Spurs against Burnley and Southampton in the Premier League.

Thomas Tuchel’s Bayern now have four wins and one draw after their opening five games and sits top the table with 13 points.
