UEFA Champions League Draw Results: 2023/24 Group Stage Teams, Fixtures and Dates.
The Champions League is nearly upon us for the new 2023/24 season, as treble-winners Manchester City try to retain their crown as the kings of Europe following their 1-0 triumph over Inter Milan in Istanbul in June.
For the final time before the competition takes on a new format next season, 32 teams were split into eight groups of four, with group containing one team from each of the four seeded pots, and clubs from the same national league will not be drawn together in the same group.
Pot 1 consist of the Champions League winners, the Europa League winners and six domestic champions of the highest ranked leagues. The remaining pots was decided by Uefa’s club coefficient rankings.
There are 32 clubs qualified for the Champions League group stage:

🏴 Scotland: Celtic
🇷🇸 Serbia: Crvena Zvezda
🇺🇦 Ukraine: Shakhtar Donetsk

The draws were completed on Thursday evening, August 31 in Monaco, France, with some eye-catching group stage battles on the horizon in the coming weeks.
In Group A, German giants Bayern Munich will face Manchester United, Copenhagen, and Galatasaray, while Arsenal who are back in the competition after six years, and the first time under Mikel Arteta, are in Group B with Sevilla, PSV, and Lens.
Napoli were the first seed in Group C and will play Real Madrid, FC Braga, and new boys Union Berlin, while last year’s quarterfinalists Benfica play against finalists, Inter, as well as Austria’s FC Salzburg, and Real Sociedad.
Atletico Madrid were drawn in Group E, alongside Dutch Champions Feyenoord as well as Lazio and Celtic.
Eddie Howe's Newcastle United side are back in the Champions League for the first time in two decades and they have been paired with Paris Saint-Germain, Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan in Group F.
Holders Man City will begin the defence of their title in Group G where they face RB Leipzig, Crvena Zvezda and Young Boys.
Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona are in Group H alongside FC Porto, Shakhtar Donetsk and Antwerp who are new to the competition.
The final of this season UCL will take place at London’s Wembley Stadium on 1 June 2024. The highlight of European football's club calendar is returning to the London venue for a record eighth time, and the third in the UEFA Champions League era following the 2011 and 2013 finals.
