Reece James Brilliance Seal First UCL Win For The Blues This Season.

 

Graham Potter's first victory at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea manager was sealed by Reece James' thunderbolt goal as the Blues thrashed AC Milan 3-0 to resurrect their Champions League campaign.

James' strike for the Blues completed a superb victory after smashing home a pass from Raheem Sterling.

Also Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's second goal in as many games was set up by a cross from the England wingback.

Wesley Fofana scored the game's first goal by finishing off Thiago Silva's forceful header, but he hobbled out in the first half with what appeared to be a leg injury.

Chelsea won for the first time in their third Champions League match of the season, passing Milan into second place in Group E on goal differential.

On September 14, Potter's first game with the Blues ended in a mixed 1-1 Champions League draw with RB Salzburg who are currently table toppers, but already his coaching strategies appear to be working. Potter was born in Solihull.

Chelsea manager, Graham Potter further hailed Reece James’ performance following their 3-0 win over AC Milan in the Champions League on Wednesday night.

“I’ve really enjoyed working with him – he’s got a lot to offer.
