Man United In 'Serious Negotiations' With Casemiro Over Transfer

Manchester United has made an approach to acquire Brazillian midfielder Casemiro for roughly £60 million.

Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro is getting closer to a move to Manchester United.

The Manchester Evening News reported on Wednesday that United are in negotiations with Casemiro's agent and believe the 30-year-old is more marketable than their top midfield target, Frenkie de Jong.

Due to Real Madrid's £85.3 million summer transfer record purchase of Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, Casemiro reportedly feels undervalued by the club.

If the 30-year-old chose to join the team that is currently last in the Premier League after two games, he would rank among the highest salaries in the organization.
