OFFICIAL: Jesse Lingard Finally Completes Move To Nottingham Forest

 The signing of Jesse Lingard has been confirmed, and Nottingham Forest is thrilled to confirm his signing.

The 29-year-old offensive midfielder joins Trentside after 22 years with his hometown team Manchester United, where he made over 230 first-team appearances and scored 35 goals.

In addition, Lingard has 32 England caps to his name. He made his international debut in 2016 and was a key player in the Three Lions' run to the World Cup semifinals in 2018, contributing one goal and two assists.

The former Red Devil is a key player on the Manchester United team that won the FA Cup in 2016 and brings to The City Ground a wealth of Premier League, Champions League, and international experience. He also scored the game-winning goal in extra time against Crystal Palace at Wembley.

A player for the big stage, Lingard scored as Manchester United defeated Southampton 3-2 in the 2017 EFL Cup final. Jesse also had a significant role in the Red Devils winning the Europa League that same year.

For the second half of the 2020–21 Premier League season, Jesse moved to West Ham United on loan. He lit up the London Stadium with a string of outstanding performances, scoring 9 goals in 16 games while also providing 5 assists.

In addition, during his time in the city, Lingard won the Premier League's Player of the Month title for April 2021 and the league's Goal of the Month award after an outstanding individual effort against Wolves, becoming just the second player to do so.

The former United star joins Dean Henderson, another former Manchester United teammate, as Trentside's eleventh summer addition.
