OFFICIAL: Barcelona Complete The Signing Of Raphinha From Leeds United
The Spanish Giants, FC Barcelona has completed the Transfer deal of Raphinha from Leeds United.
According to Fabrizio Romano, The Transfer Journalist reported that Raphinha to Barcelona cost €58m fixed fee plus add-ons up to total €67m package.
There was interest and bids from Arsenal and Chelsea but the Brazilian prefer a move to the Catalan side which has been his utmost priority.
Raphinha only wanted Barça since February and he’s set to sign a 5-years contract, The player's desire to move to Barca has allowed the Catalan club to win the race for his signature.
Raphinha, 25, a full international for Brazil, was crucial in helping Leeds earn Premier League safety on the final day of the previous campaign.
Following a €20 million transfer from French club Rennes in 2020, his penalty in the win over Brentford was one of 17 goals he scored in two seasons at Elland Road.
He first arrived in Europe in 2018, moving from Vitoria Guimares to Sporting Lisbon. He stayed in Portugal for one season before relocating to France.
The Leeds winger did everything possible to join Barça, his biggest dream.
