Jesse Lingard Close To Joining Nottingham Forest.

 Jesse Lingard, a former attacking midfielder for Manchester United, is almost ready to sign for Premier League new boys Nottingham Forest on a free transfer.

The 32-cap England veteran, who is 29 years old, has been in talks with the newly promoted team, although it is believed that nothing has been finalized as of yet.

When his contract expired at the end of June, he left United after more than 20 years with the organization.

Lingard has additionally been connected to a comeback to West Ham.

During the 2020–21 season, he spent time on loan with the Hammers, making 16 Premier League starts and scoring nine goals.

Lingard made 22 appearances for Manchester United last season, but only four of them were starts. He has also spoken with Everton.
