"We Are Parting Ways" – Shakira And Pique Confirms Seperation After 11-Years Of Being Together.

Colombia singer Shakira and Longtime Boyfriend Gerard Piqué Have both confirmed their separation after 11-years.

CloudNine Sports had reported days earlier that the long-time relationship between both was about to come to and end after Shakira, 45' allegedly caught the Barcelona defender Pique, 35, in bed with another woman

It was largely claimed that the woman whom Pique cheated with was the mother of his Barcelona team-mate Gavi, but that reports have since been debunked by the Sanish media.

Fans are also taking note of the lyrics to Shakira's newest song with Rauw Alejandro, titled "Te Felecito."

"For completing you I broke into pieces/They warned me, but I did not pay attention," she sings. "I realized that yours is false/It was the drop that overflowed the glass/Do not tell me you're sorry, that seems sincere, but I know you well and I know you lie."

The pair initially met while the Colombian singer was filming the music video for her World Cup hit record 'Waka Waka' in 2010 (This Time for Africa)," which served as the official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

They have been together since March 2011, while they remain unmarried. Both had two children (sons) Milan [9], and Sasha [7], during their relationship.

"We regret to confirm that we are separating," the couple said in a joint statement Saturday. "We ask for privacy at this moment for the well-being of our children, who are our maximum priority. Thank you in advance for your understanding and respect."

It is believed the couple have been living separately for a few weeks after the footballer was kicked out of their family home.

Spanish outlet Marca, reports that neither Pique nor Shakira is interested in taking money from the other and their sole focus is to ensure the best outcome for their children.

Reports in Spain also claim that the pop star is considering leaving the country as she has "no friends or family" in Barcelona that aren't Pique's.
