Tothenham are interested in signing Clement Lenglet in a loan deal.
A loan deal for Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet is being discussed between Tottenham and Barca according to Skysports, but a deal has yet to be reached.
Josko Gvardiol of Leipzig, Pau Torres of Villarreal, Alessandro Bastoni of Inter Milan are also linked to Spurs. Emerson Royal has been offered a season-long loan by Atletico Madrid.
But Clement Lenglet isn't the only center-back Tottenham is interested in signing on loan from Barcelona this summer.
The most likely destination for Lenglet, if the France international leaves the Nou Camp this summer, has been described by a source close to the negotiations as Tottenham Hotspur.
Lenglet lost his spot in the team starting lineup due to the inconsistency in his performance and Xavi putting trust in Araujo and Pique partnership. Despite that, Clement Lenglet made a total of 27 appearances in all competitions last season.
Recall that the French defender joined Barcelona from Sevilla in the summer of 2018 for a fee of €36m and was superb in his first season.
However, The 27-year-old is not the only centre-back Spurs are inquiring about as they look to add a left-footer to their back three, but an agreement is not yet close.
