Fernandinho Wins Premier League's Most Powerful Goal Of The Season.

 The most powerful goal of the 2021/22 Premier League season was awarded to Fernandinho's strike in City's 4-0 win away to Leeds.

Pep Guardiola's side took another step towards a fourth title in five years as the Brazilian came off the bench to complete the scoring at Elland Road.

City had taken control in Leeds thanks to goals from Rodrigo, Nathan Ake, and Gabriel Jesus, but there was still time for the captain to fire a devastating first-time drive into the bottom corner of Illan Meslier's net deep into stoppage time.

Following the thrilling final day win over Aston Villa four weeks later, the 37-year-old came an end to an incredible nine years at the Club, bringing his personal tally to five Premier League titles.

The award, created in collaboration with Oracle, determines which Premier League strike had the fastest average speed from the time it was struck to the time it crossed the line.

And it is Fernandinho who has won the prize out of the 1,071 goals scored throughout the course of the season.
