Thomas Tuchel 'Will Not Quit Chelsea' Amid Man United Links.

•Thomas Tuchel has no intention of quitting Chelsea despite the club’s future being thrown into turmoil by the sanctions imposed on Roman Abramovich. 

•Former Liverpool defender and pundit Jamie Carragher has advised Manchester United that they should get Thomas Tuchel as their next manager.

The future of the whole club has been thrown into doubt on Thursday morning over sanctions by the UK Government levied upon Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, freezing his assets in the UK that includes Chelsea Football Club.

The news comes as the UK looks to put pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin, who reportedly has ties with Abramovich for decades, claiming that the billionaire is a “pro-Kremlin oligarch”.

This sanction means that the 55-year-old billionaire plans to sell the club have now been frozen, and as a result, been given a contract ban and are not able to sign new players or negotiate contracts renewals, as several key stars like (Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta) are now expected to depart at the end of the season which puts the entire playing squad at an equally uncertain position.

Many Blues fans also fear that manager Thomas Tuchel could leave the club after 14 successful months at Stamford Bridge, as the club will now operate under a “special license” until 31st of May.

With all the current controversy surrounding the West London side, Jamie Carragher believes that Manchester United should try and hire Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel for their vacant managerial position.

Several sources also claims that six different sides have registered an interest in acquiring Tuchel including Man United.

PSG’s Mauricio Pochettino and Erik ten Hag look like the two leading candidates to succeed Ralf Rangnick at Old Trafford in the summer, but the opportunity to appoint one of the top managers in Europe appeared to be a good opportunity to pass-by.

“Tuchel, like everyone else at Stamford Bridge, will have no idea what the future holds at his current club. No one can offer one of the best managers in the world any assurances about how the squad will look at the start of next season given the club’s sale is on hold...Carragher said via his article in the Telegraph.

“United can offer him the security and backing every top coach craves. Yes, it will seem a predatory move, taking advantage of Chelsea’s crisis, but from United and Tuchel’s perspective the more you consider it, the more of a no-brainer it is.”

Chelsea team further ended a difficult day for the club by recording a 3-1 victory over Norwich City at Carrie Road with Trevoh Chalobah, Mason Mount and Kai Havertz scoring for the Blues on the night.

Thomas Tuchel also decided that he will remain at Chelsea despite the club being sanctioned due to their owner, Roman Abramovich.

The former PSG boss is reportedly is believed to have insisted that he ‘loves’ the club no matter the testing and ever-changing circumstances.

 Speaking last week, Thomas Tuchel said: “Chelsea, for me, is a perfect fit. I love to be here and I love everything about the club. Hopefully it continues.

“There is now uncertainty, but isn't it always as a football manager? I'm used and trained to live with it on different levels. This is quite a new level but I have to live with it. I am positive and I hope things will end well.”

Sitting firmly in third position, Chelsea next play host to Newcastle United in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, before they travel to France to play Lille for the second-leg last-16 tie.

Chelsea has won the first-leg at home 2-0 two weeks ago, with Kia Harvertz and Christian Pulisic on the scoresheet.
