OFFICIAL: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer SACKED As Man United Manager.
Manchester United have parted ways with Ole Gunnar Solskjær, mutual agreement reached as confirmed by official statement.
United have won just 17 points in their opening 12 league games this season; their second-worst start to a Premier League campaign, ahead of only 2019-20 when they had 16 points under Ole Gunnar Solskjær.
Michael Carrick will now take charge of the team for forthcoming games, while Manchester United look to appoint an interim manager to the end of the season.
Mike Phelan and Kieran McKenna will stay at Manchester United as things stand - after Michael Carrick asked this morning for both to help in the backroom staff.
The club are working to find an interim manager as soon as possible.
