Chelsea Winger Hakim Ziyech Is Linked With A Temporary Loan Move To Borussia Dortmund In January.

Chelsea midfielder Hakim Ziyech is not having a good time at Chelsea, and has been linked with a move away from the club.

The Moroccan star has struggled for consistent impact so  far this season despite impressing in pre-season under manager Thomas Tuchel.

Ziyech who is one of the oldest player in the Chelsea squad is increasingly getting linked with moves away from the Bridge. 

He has previously been linked with a move away from Chelsea as AC Milan wanted him on loan but the Blues decided to keep the play-maker for the start of the season.

Thomas Tuchel has previously insisted that Ziyech is still and important player for Chelsea, despite not giving the attacker regular game time.

"First of all, he fought his way into the team and was in the team at the beginning of the season because of performance. It was so obvious in pre-season that he had to be on the pitch. To start from there, he was on the pitch... Said Tuchel.

"He is one of our players. We will never lose trust or patience with him, he will stay an important player I am sure."

The 28-year-old currently have over three years left on his contract, which does limit his options, but a temporary loan move in January could be the best option.

He arrived at the West London club in the summer of 2020 from Ajax for €40million plus bonuses and has scored just 8 goals in 49 appearances across all competition for Chelsea.

While Ziyech does have a goal to his name as he struggles for game time in recent weeks, getting replaced by Ross Barkley of all players in the starting lineup against Burnley in last weekend 1-1 draw.

He scored the only goal as the Blues beat Malmo 1-0 away in the Champions League group stages.

According to reports from Germany, As per BILD, Ziyech 'definitely wants to leave' Chelsea, and Borussia Dortmund is keenly following up the situation at Stamford Bridge.

The German club are in search of a good pair with striker Erling Halaand going forward, as they plan mount a strong title-challenge against top contender Bayern Munich. 

Dortmund's 2-1 away lost to RB Leipzig last weekend gave Bayern a four-point lead at the top already after just eleven matches.
