Man United Star Juan Mata Extends Stay With The Club By One-Year.
Juan Mata has agreed a new one-year contract with Manchester United after his previous deal at Old Trafford expired earlier this week.
Mata joined United for £37.1m from Premier League rivals Chelsea in January 2014, the fresh agreement will keep the 33-year-old at Old Trafford for another 12 months.
The 33-year-old who has become one of the most popular players in recent United history has since made 273 appearances for the Red Devils, 207 starts, scoring 51 goals and creating 40 assists in the process.
He made just 18 appearances in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team in the just concluded season, and was one of six United players to win the Player of the Month awards, alongside Edinson Cavani, Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba, Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw.
The World cup winner with Spain has won four trophies at United, which includes the FA Cup, the League Cup, Community shield, and the Europa League.
