Manchester United are close to securing the signning of Porto's star Alex Telles having held conversations with left back over a potential five-year deal at the club.
According to football-chief-editor Mohamed Bouhafsi on RMCsports, no agreement in place with the Portuguese club FC porto, with PSG also there and still thinking about whether or not to make a concrete move.
The Parisians first chioce left-back Juan Bernat had suffered a serious knee ligament injury in their first 1-0 league victory this season at home to Mets on Wednesday night, and he is expected to be out of action for over 6 months.
Alex Telles is one of the three names on top of the United list who are desperate in the search of a full-back before the transfer window ends in October.
Sergio Regulion was one of the names included in the list, but Man United pulled out of a deal with the Spanish left-back because of the buy-out clause kept by Real Madrid regarding his transfer.
The 23-year-old who spent last season on-loan at Sevilla, is now set to complete a move to join Jose Mourinho's Tottenham Hotspur in the coming days.
Manchester United is believed will make a formal bid for Alex Telles and reach an agreement with FC Porto who are requesting a fee around €20million.
The 27-year-old Brazilian current contract with Porto is due to expire next summer, but would be allowed to talk to other clubs over a pre-contract in January.
Telles made 49 appearances for Porto last season, scoring 13 goals, and creating 12 assists.
