Real Madrid have been crowned champions of the 2019/20 La Liga season.
The Spanish gaints have now won the league title for a record 34th times in history.
The Los Blancos only needed a win in their game against Villarreal to wrap up the title since 2017, and they didn't disappiont on the night.
They won the title with a game left to play defeating Villarreal 2-1 at an empty reserve Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium, while the Santiago Bernabeu is still undergoing construction.
French international Karim Benzema made no mistake, as he struck in the 29th minute of the game through a smooth pass from Luka Modric to make it 1-0.
Benzema went futher to score a brace from a penalty spot, after Sergio Ramos was tripped in the Villarreal's penalty box in the 75th minutes which saw Benzema steps up and drills the ball into the bottom left-hand corner to double Madrid lead.
