Liverpool's manager Jürgen Klopp reacts to his side recent dip in form, which have jeopardized the teams dream of finishing the 2019/20 Premier League as the invicibles, and also making the treble win unachievable this season, having crashed out of the FA Cup both in the space of four days...

Liverpool who were yet to recover from their first league defeat against Watford last Saturday ending their 44-games unbeaten run, suffered another loss in the FA Cup fifth round fixture against Chelsea on Tuesday night at Stamford Bridge.

The reds fell short to a 2-0 defeat to Frank Lampard side in London, with Chelsea scoring on both half's of the match, courtesy of Willian 13th minutes strike and Barkley's 64th minutes goal.

The defeat means that the World/European champions, they have now won only 1 game in their last 4 matches which are;
• Atlético Madrid 1-0 Liverpool (Champions League)
• Liverpool 3-2 West Ham (Premier League)
• Watford 3-0 Liverpool (Premier League)
• Chelsea 2-0 Liverpool (FA Cup).

Jürgen Klopp speaking to reporters after the defeat at Stamford Bridge;

"we have to admit that in the last three games , maybe four , we have conceded absolutely too many goals which is not really good enough.

"The performance tonight was completely different [than] at Watford. Against Watford it was really bad, tonight it was not bad. Tonight it was a really super-intense game. We made seven changes and we knew it would be intense."

“Losing 2-0 at Chelsea is not cool, but we deserved the defeat, we made two massive mistakes around the goal, but I am not concerned about [it]. That's football, if you make decisive mistakes then you lose football games."

"I know the boys are strong, they showed it so many times a wonderful reaction and now we have to show this reaction again. That's all."
