The Everton manager was shown a red card at full-time by referee Chris Kavanagh, following the dramatic 1-1 draw between Everton and Manchester United at Goodison park last Sunday.

The Everton midfielder did not touch the ball before it went into the net but was said to have made a move with his leg when the ball deflected off Harry Maguire, thereby obstructing David de Gea's view from the ball.

Meanwhile, CloudNine Sports understands that the Football Association have charged Ancelotti with misconduct for breaching the FA rule after he confronted referee Chris Kavanagh following his red card.
He has been fined £8,000 after accepting the charge, and will not serve any touchline ban in that regard. His next match will be against his former team Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
