Marcus Rashford Injury Is Wearisome and May Likely Miss the Euro 2020... Says Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that Rashford may not play again this season and might miss the upcoming Euro 2020 for England....

Solskjær speaking in a press conference ahead of Manchester United's Europa League game away to Club Brugge on Thursday, was asked if Rashford will play again this season:

"It'll be touch and go. It takes time. I was hoping that he would recover quicker than it actually looks like he will. He'll be out for another few months, definitely."

"He had a scan and it was maybe more severe than what we hoped and expected. He felt fine a few days before that and when it heals he will be back stronger so it's important we don’t rush it."

"I am hoping he plays before then end of season but, if he’s not fit enough, he would likely miss the Euros."

Rashford came on as a subtitute during the FA Cup replay fixture on January 15, as he  suffered a double stress fracture in his back and was taken off. The match ended 1-0 in favour of United with Juan Mata scoring the only goal in the 67th minutes, as Solskjær's men progress to the next round of the competition.

The 22-year-old England forward has played a vital role for United this season, scoring 19 in 31 appearance across all competitions.

Manchester United who are looking forward to a top four spot finish and qualify for next seasons Champions League, are currently sitting in seventh place with 38 points in the league standings, 3 points behind Chelsea who is in fourth place with 41 points.
