The 25-year-old who joined Barcelona from Chinese football club side Dalian Quanjian in January 2019, have won her second trophy with the Spanish side, after scoring a brace and an assist to help her team cruise to a 1-10 massive victory over Real Sociedad at the maiden edition finals of the Super Copa de Espana Femenina known as the Spanish Super cup, held at the Helmantico Staduim in Salamanca.
Oshoala scored Barcelona’s fourth goal in the 34th minute and added the seventh goal on 51st minutes of the match, she also provided the assist for the sixth goal in the 44th minute which was scored by Alexia Putella.
The fours times African women's footballer of the year, has first won the Copa Catalunya with Barcelona after a 4-0 win over Espanyol in 2019, before lifting the Spanish Super Cup as her second trophy with the Spanish side.
CloudNine Sports understands that Asisat Oshoala has also won numerous trophies with her previous club sides, first is winning the FA Cup twice with Rivers Angels in the Nigeria's women's league, she also won the women's FA Cup with the Arsenal Ladies and finally won the Chinese women's super league with Dalian Quanjian during her stay at the club.
Oshoala has now scored 19 goals in 22 appearance for Barcelona this season across all competitions.
