Jabeur had already becomes the first Arab woman to make it to the fourth round at a Grand Slam event, extended her tremenduos run on after victory over 27th seed Wang in a match that lasted 77 minutes on Sunday.


Ons Jabeur, beat Johanna Konta and Caroline Garcia in the first and second round respectively, and also sent the former world No.1 and Danish star, Caroline Wozniacki into retirement after that famous 7-5, 3-6, 7-5 victory in the third round.

Jabeur beats Serena Williams conqueror Qiang Wang, to set up a quarter final tie with 14th seed American Sofia Kenin who eliminated Coco Gauff in the fourth round, with a first Grand Slam semi-final spot in line for each of them.
