Simona Halep of Romania (age 27) has beaten American Serena Williams (age 37) 6-2, 6-2 in a stunning display at the centre court, to win her second Grand Slam and first ever Wimbledon title, in a match that lasted 56 minutes.
The victory for the World No.7 "Simona Halep" makes her become the first Romanian woman to get to the Wimbledon final and to also win the title.
