American President Donald Trump awards Tiger Woods with America's highest civilian honour

The winner of the Masters at Augusta last April, Tiger Woods has been presented with America's highest civilian hounour by long time friend and American President Donald Trump in the White House washington.

The 43-year-old and fourteen time major winner, Tiger Woods who went from 
Public humiliations and scandals following serious life issues and setbacks, to winning his fifth Masters this year and claiming his 15th major, received a loud cheer at the beginning of his remarks, thanked his mother and two children during the ceremony.

"You have seen the good and the bad, the highs and the lows, I would not be in this position without all of your help." Tiger Woods added.

On the other hand, the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump praised the golfer miraculous comeback and historic career from 1997 to his winning the 2019 Masters, and giving all sport enthusiast around the globe good memories of a lifetime.

"These qualities is a quintessential of the American spirit of pushing boundaries and defying all odds," Trump added.

Tiger Woods is the fourth golfer to be bestowed the award , as he joins other golfers, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and the PGA Tour's first black player, Charlie Sifford. Together with other notable Athletes, Muhammad Ali, Billie Jean King and Michael Jordan to win the award.
