UEFA appionts referees to be in charge of the Semi Final fixtures of the Champions League!
UEFA on Monday picked Dutch referee, Bjorn Kuipers to handle the Champions League semi-final first leg tie between Barcelona and Liverpool on Wednesday night at Camp Nou. He also officiated the 2014 Final of the competition between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid at the Estadio da Luz in Lisbon and Real Madrid were champions after an extra time 4-1 victory.
For Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final tie between Tottenham Hotspur and Ajax, Spanish referee, Antonio Mateu Lahoz has been picked to be in charge of affairs. The Spainiard referee who has officiated the English side Tottenham 3-0 victory over Dortmund at the round of 16 on February 13, 2019.

English team Tottenham who navigated their way to the semi final after defeating German side Borussia Dortmund at the round of 16 and narrowly past through fellow English side Manchester City in a 4-4 aggregate scoreline but qualified with the away goals rules in the quarter finals.
While Dutch side Ajax dumped Spanish side and defending champions Real Madrid out od the competition and tactically crashed the Italian team Juventus out of the competition with a 3-2 aggregate win in the quarter finals.
