Roger Federer beats John Isner to claim fourth title at the maimi open 2019 final
The swizz professional tennis player Roger Federer, who is currently ranked world No.5 in men's singles tennis by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and is regarded as one the greatest tennis players of all time, has emerge champion of the Miami Open 2019 after defeating defending champion and Florida born John Isner 6-1, 6-4 to win his 101st ATP title.
Fourth seed Roger Federer and Seventh seed John Isner face off foer the first time in four years in Sundays final at the Miami open presented by Itau. Federer won the match 6-1, 6-4 in just 64 minutes to emerge champion.
The 37 year old Swizz tennis player Roger Federer said, "It was a dream start, relaxing my nerves. I just can be very happy on either end, and that's why i am so happy that i was able to produce a performance like this in a finals, because this is what you train for and play for that constantly keeps your level going up as the tournament progresses. And this was my best performance, I am very excited."
John Robert Isner the 33 year old American professional tennis player who is ranked as the world No.9 in the men's single and defending champion said, " He had started feeling pains in his foot during the first set of the match."
"Its a terrible feeling, because you are on an island out there, and you have no teammates to hide behind. I was facing the greatest player ever, playing in this incredible atmosphere and my foot is killing me."
I was proud to reach the final for a second year in a row " Not that i would have won the match, anyways, lets make that clear, but i think i could have made for a more interesting match. He told the Swizz player Congrats, Federer was exceptionally good today, entirely good in this tournament, and entirely good in your entire career. He told the swizz never to hang his racket after winning his 101st ATP title of his carrier, it is absolutely incredible what you are doing." Said John Isner.
