Lakers Shut Down Lebron James For The Rest Of The Season

The American based professional basketball team, and 16-time world champions Los Angeles Lakers has confirmed that the 34 years old American professional basketball player, Lebron Raymone James, 'who is often considered as one of the best and greatest basketball player in the world' will sit out the rest of the season,which would end his first season with the team.

The following statement was released by the president of Basketball Associations, Earvin Magic Johnson "After consulting with our team doctors and medical staff, We have decided to hold Lebron out of games for the remainder of the season, This decision will therefore enable his groin to heal, and it is best for the future success of both Lebron and the Lakers."

James will travel with the team on the upcoming road trip to New Orleans and Oklahoma City. 

James 2018-19 season stats with the Lakers, 55 games, 27.4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 8.3 assists with the Lakers.
